Ingredients
Oil - 2 tbsp
Carrot (cut into thin pieces)- 1 medium
Capsicum (cut into thin pieces)- 1 medium
Cabbage (cut into thin pieces) - 1 medium
Ginger (cut into small pieces) - 1 inch
Garlic (cut into small pieces) - 2 to 3 cloves
Spring onion - 4 to 5 stalks
Salt to taste
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
Cooked rice (preferably basmathi rice) - 1 to 2 cups
Method
1. Heat oil in a deep non stick pan. Add ginger and garlic. Saute for sometime.
2. Add carrot, cabbage, capsicum and spring onion. Saute for sometime.
3. Add salt, pepper powder and soy sauce. Saute for sometime.
4. Now add the cooked rice and mix well. Saute it for sometime.
5. All these should be done in high heat
6. Serve it hot.
Note: If you want to make egg fried rice, just make scramble eggs with little salt and pepper powder and mix it with the fried rice (recipe mentioned above). For chicken fried rice, boil chicken pieces with salt and pepper powder. Make small pieces and add it to the prepared fried rice.
