Its very easy to prepare. The only difficulty is the stirring part to make the chocolate syrup. Rest of the work is like breeze...Add sugar as per your taste. I used Cadbury's Cocoa powder for this recipe. You can use any brand. As i didn't have whipped cream, i topped it up with some fresh cream :)

The taste of this drink is very chocolatey and heavenly. I would suggest you all to try it at least once and you won't stop by drinking just one cup.

Sweet Lime Juice | Mosambi Juice

Sweet lime is a fruit that is rich in Vitamin C and is very good for people who are not well or tired. It is an instant energy booster. Very good for children and adults too.

This is a simple juice which i make every now and then for my kids. Yesterday, when i made this juice, my daughter asked me whether i have posted this in my blog or not. Then i realised that i have not posted it... May be it just slipped off from my mind or may be i thought its very simple and everyone know how to make it....Nothing innovative has to be done with this juice, it tastes awesome in its own.

I don't prefer adding ice cubes and soda while making this juice. But its your choice, if you like the juice, fizzy and chilled, you can add it. By adding mint leaves to it, the juice gets a minty lemony flavour, which tastes very nice. Try it out friends and let me know....

    Ingredients

    2 Sweet Lime/Mosambi
2 - 3 tbsp Sugar (as per your taste)
    1 pinch Salt
    4 - 5 Mint leaves (optional)
    Ice cubes (optional)
    Soda (optional)
    Water

    Method

    • Squeeze out the juice from the sweet lime. Pour it in a blender.
    • Add sugar, salt and mint leaves.
    • Add ice cubes and little water.
    • Blend it for 30 - 40 seconds or more, till the sugar is completely dissolved and the juice is frothy.
    • Strain and add water to adjust the consistency. Pour it in glasses.
    • If using soda, add it instead of water. Give a quick mix.
    • Serve it chilled.

    Chickoo Milkshake

Chickoo is commonly known as sapodilla. It is a vital source of vitamins, minerals and health benefiting anti-oxidant. Consumption of this fruit replenishes energy and revitalises the body instantly.

This is a perfect healthy cooling drink for summer. You can omit vanilla ice cream to make it more healthier.

When I decided to make this milkshake, I didn't have ice cream, so made this drink without it. Still the milkshake tasted awesome. You can adjust the milk and ice cubes as per your taste. While serving, to make the drink more attractive for my kids, I spread little nutella in the glass before pouring the milkshake in it. (You can see it in the picture. Could have made it more attractive :))

    Ingredients

    4 Chickoo (peeled, roughly chopped)
    1 tsp Sugar
    10 - 15 Ice cubes
    1/2 - 3/4 cup Milk (cold)
2 scoops Vanilla Ice cream (optional)

    Method

    • Keep aside some of the chickoo pieces for garnish.
    • In a blender, put chickoo, milk, ice cubes, sugar and vanilla ice cream.
    • Blend it well, till it becomes smooth and creamy.
    • Pour it into individual tall glasses and garnish with the chickoo pieces.
    • Serve it chilled.

    Spicy Orange Juice

You might not have thought of any spicy drink, isn't it? I tried out making a spicy drink using the orange juice. Tasted really perfect.

If you like, you can add soda to the drink. In that case, instead of water add soda. But don't blend soda along with the juice. Add it in the end. I somehow felt that by adding soda, i won't be able to taste the exact flavours. So i omitted adding soda.

This drink is not only healthy but also tasty with a slight tinge of spice. Adjust the spice and salt as per your taste. Try it by your self and you can feel the different flavours in the drink.

    Ingredients

    2 cups Orange Juice
    1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
    1/4 tsp Black salt
    Water as required
    Soda as required (optional)
    Ice cubes as required (optional)

    Method
    • In a bowl, mix orange juice, black pepper powder, water and black salt.
    • Put this mixture in a blender and blend it for 2 - 3 seconds.
    • Pour it in a serving glass with ice cubes (optional). Sprinkle a bit of black pepper powder on top.
    • Serve it chilled or in room temperature.

    Homemade Cappuccino

This recipe is for all the coffee lovers......

The smell of coffee itself is awesome. Iam a coffee lover. But has never thought of buying a coffee maker. Recently, on a cookery show, i saw how to make this cappuccino. I was impressed and thought to try it by myself. It really tasted awesome. It has a soft, smooth, frothy texture that you don't need a coffee maker for making it.

The only difficult part in making this coffee is the 'mixing'. But friends, it is worth it. When you have that first sip....you will forget everything.

    Ingredients

Instant coffee powder - 2 tsp
    Sugar - 2 tbsp
    Milk - 2 cups
    Water - 4 tsp

    Method
    • In a cup, put instant coffee powder, sugar and hot water. Mix well.
    • Mix it approximately for 10 minutes with a spoon till you get a smooth paste like consistency. (picture is shown)
    • Take the desired amount of this paste in a serving cup. Pour hot milk about 30 cm away from the cup. Mix well with a spoon.
    • Serve it hot.

    First Stage

    2nd stage

    3rd Stage

    4th Stage

    5th Stage

You can see that the mixture doubles the quantity that you had initially taken.

    Have this cup of Cappuccino...
