Gobi Fry


Cauliflower - 1 medium
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Maida - 1/2 cup
Cornflour - 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Lime juice - 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying
Salt to taste


1. Wash and cut the cauliflower into florets.
2. In a bowl add cornflour, rice flour, maida, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, lime juice and salt. Mix this well with the cauliflower florets.
3. Sprinkle water and mix well.
4. Heat oil in a deep pan. Put the marinated cauliflower and fry it till crisp and golden in colour.
5. Transfer it to a tissue paper and serve it hot as a snack.
