Chilli Potato

Ingredients

Potato - 500 gms
Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Soy sauce - 2 tsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Vinegar - 2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Cornflour - 3 tbsp
Vegetable oil
Tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
Onion ( finely chopped ) - 2
Salt to taste
Pepper powder (as per your taste)

Method

1. Peel off the skin of potatoes and cut it long in finger shape. Wash thoroughly.
2. Into the cut potatoes, put salt, pepper powder and cornflour. Keep it aside for half an hour.
3. In a frying pan, put some oil and put the marinated potatoes and fry till all sides are in golden brown colour.
4. Drain the excess oil by putting the fried potatoes in a tissue paper.
5. In the same frying pan, put 2 to 3 tbsp oil and put the chopped onion and garlic paste. Fry this for 1 minute.
6. Put red chilli powder, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and tomato ketchup in to the frying pan and mix well.
7. When it is mixed properly, add the fried potatoes, mix well and serve it hot.
8. A snack for kids who will love it.
