Jam Drops


Butter (softened) - 125 gms
Sugar (powdered) - 1/2 cup
Egg - 1
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Maida - 1 and 1/4 cup
Jam of your choice


1. Take a deep bowl. Put butter and soften it with a wooden spoon or an electric beater.
2. Add sugar and mix well. Now add vanilla essence and egg. Beat well.
3. Seave maida and mix it to the beaten mixture. Mix well.
4. Pre heat oven to 180 degree celcius.
5. On a baking tray spread some butter or place a butter paper.
6. Make small balls out of the prepared dough by dusting your hands with little maida.
7. Place it on the baking tray. Press the center of the balls with your finger.
8. In the center of each balls put little jam.
9. Bake it in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
10. Once done, transfer it to a wire rack and let it cool.
11. When it is completely cooled, transfer it to an airtight container.
12. Tastes really good.
