Healthy Pan Pizza

Ingredients

Whole wheat flour (atta) - 1 and 1/2 cup
Soya flour - 3 tbsp
Makai flour - 3 tbsp
Yeast - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Olive oil - 3 tbsp

To make Sauce

Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Onion (chopped) - 1 medium
Tomato (chopped) - 1 and 1/2 cup
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
Garlic (chopped) - 8 cloves
Black pepper (crushed) - 1/2 tsp
Oregano powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Topping (you can add non- veg or any vegetables of your choice)

Onion (cut into roundels) - 1 medium
Capsicum (cut into roundels) - 1 medium (you can put yellow, green and red capsicum)
Mushrooms (sliced) - 6
Chilli flakes - as required (u can use the packets which u get when u order pizzas from the shop or just crush the dried red chillies)
Oregano powder - as required
Mozzarella cheese (grated) - 1 cup
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Jalapeno (sliced)  (optional) - 2 to 3


Method

1. In a little water, put sugar, salt and yeast. Mix well.
2. To make the pizza base, mix wheat flour, soya flour and makai flour along with the yeast mixture. Mix together by adding enough water along with 2 tbsp of olive oil to make a soft dough.
3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set aside to ferment.
4. Once the dough doubles its size, add the rest of oil and knead well.
5. Roll half of the dough to the size of the pan and transfer it to the pan, cover it and keep aside for sometime for the dough to rise.
6. To make the pizza sauce, put some olive oil in a pan and add onion, garlic and chopped tomato. Saute it for sometime.
7. Add tomato puree, salt and crushed pepper and stir for sometime.
8. After 5 to 10 minutes, when the sauce thickens to the consistency required add oregano powder. Stir and take off from heat.
9. Poke the pizza base which is spread on the pan with a fork here and there.
10. Spread some sauce you have prepared on the pizza base. Over that spread little shredded mozzarella cheese.
11. After that spread onions, capsicums, mushrooms, Jalapeno and the vegetables of your choice.
12. Again spread the shredded cheese on top of the vegetables.
13. Heat the pan for 2 minutes. Now, cover and keep the pan on top of a heated tawa on medium heat till the pizza base is cooked and the cheese is melted.
14. Remove the pizza once it is done and sprinkle the chilli flakes and oregano powder. Serve hot.
15. Do the same process for the next pizza. It is really very tasty and healthy too.
