Ingredients
Raw rice - 1/2 cup
Urad Dal (split) - 1/2 cup
Chana Dal - 1/2 cup
Toor Dal - 1/2 cup
Dry red chilli - 25 nos
Asafoteida - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Curry leaves - as required
Oil - as required
Method
1. Soak raw rice, urad dal, chana dal, toor dal and dry red chillies for 3 hrs and grind them coarsely.
2. In this mixture, add asafoteida, salt, water and make like a dosa batter.
3. Cut curry leaves and mix this to the mixture.
4. Once the mixture is ground, we should make the dosa immediately.
5. Smear little oil on a dosa pan and put a big spoonful of batter and spread like a dosa.
6. Put little oil on the sides of the dosa and cook till its done on both the sides.
7. You can serve this hot with coconut chutney or with jaggery and butter.
8. This is a very good recipe with full of proteins. Good for kids too.
Coconut Chutney
Ingredients
Grated coconut - 2 cup
Green chilli - 4
Small onion - 4
Tamarind - size of a gooseberry
Curry leaves - one strip
Salt to taste
Method
1. Grind all the ingredients coarsely.
