Ingredients
Oil - 2 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
Onion (chopped) - 1 small
Green chilli - 3 to 4
Tomato (chopped) - 1 medium
Sprouted moong - 1/4 cup
Vegetables - carrot, beans, peas, cauliflower or any vegetables of your choice
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Oats - 1 and 1/2 cup
Water - 3 cups
Salt to taste
Method
1. In a pressure cooker, heat oil. Add jeera and mustard seeds.
2. After the mustard seeds splutter, add onion, green chilli. Saute for sometime.
3. When the onion changes colour, add tomato. After sometime, add sprouted moong and the vegetables.
4. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
5. After sometime, add the oats and water. Mix well.
6. Cover the cooker and after 2 whistles, take it off from heat.
7. Serve it hot by pouring little ghee. It adds taste to the dish.
8. A very healthy and tasty dish relished by both kids and adults.
