Ingredients
Oil - 2 tbsp
Onion ( finely chopped) - 2 medium
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Garlic paste - 1 and 1/2 tsp
Green chilli (finely chopped) - 2 to 3 nos
Tomatoes ( finely chopped) - 4 medium
Pav Bhaji masala - 1 and 1/2 tbsp
Chickpeas (optional, boiled and slightly mashed) - 1/4 cup
Cauliflower (grated) - 1/4 cup
Potatoes (boiled, mashed) - 4 medium
Water as required
Tomato puree - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Capsicum (finely chopped) - 1 medium
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Butter - 2 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Method
1. Heat oil in a kadai. Put onion and saute till translucent.
2. Add ginger paste and garlic paste. Saute for sometime.
3. Add green chillies and tomatoes.
4. After sometime, add pav bhaji masala. Mix well.
5. Add chickpeas, cauliflower, potatoes. Mix well.
6. Add water as required. Add tomato puree and salt. Let it cook for sometime.
7. Then add the capsicum and coriander leaves.
8. Add some butter and lemon juice and take it out of heat.
9. Slit the Pav into two. Heat a non stick pan and put some butter. Toast the pav.
10. Serve the pav hot with the bhaji. Really Tasty!!!
